Hello gamers! Thank you for reading the very first article of "Gaming with Greedy." In this column, I’m going to write about the art of competitive multiplayer gaming. I like to play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory so that’s where my focus will be. I’ll give you the best practices, tips, and tricks that I’ve learned over the years. My goal through this column is to make you an awesome ET and FPS player. Even if you’re already an advanced player, I’m sure you can pick up a trick or two from good ole’ Greedy. And if you’re a novice, well, this column will make you good in a hurry!
My style of play on ET is one of those Rambo Medics. I like to run and gun, and kill a lot of people. And reviving lives is a lot of fun too. I play very aggressively. Generally, I run towards violence not away from it. I’m never afraid to take a bullet or dish out some hurt. If you've ever seen me play, you know I like to raise some hell!
And it’s exactly my hell raisin’ that gets me into trouble. Just about every time I play, I get accused of using an aimbot. And almost always, someone calls a vote to kick me off. I’ve been banned from many servers because they think I cheat. Sorry to disappoint folks, but I don’t cheat. I have never used an aimbot or any other hack. Nor will I ever will. I’m always about improving and if you cheat, you will never improve.
If you read this column, practice hard, and play hard, you will become as good as or even better than me. I play around five hours a week so I’m sure if you play more, you’ll become better. But that’s OK because you can teach me stuff then. I have to warn you though, you’ll start to get noobs calling you a cheater once you improve. You might get voted off or even worse, banned! When that day comes, consider it a badge of honor. You have arrived and become a Jedi Master.
Happy fragging,
Greedy
